SMU Arise & Pray

2015 Day 3 Prayer Requests:

Cheyenne (requested by boyfriend Chase): Please pray Cheyenne’s lymphoma will be healed and for peace through this storm. She first had it 18 months ago and it went into remission. Now a lymph node is looking suspicious. They are afraid the cancer is returning. She is a freshman at a university out of state. He is a freshman at SMU.

Justin: Pray his broken finger would be healed.

Katelyn: Pray for her presentation to go well.

Mona: Pray for her to adjust well to her new job at SMU

Christy: Pray for her body to be healed. She fell on her way to class today. She tripped and didn’t have time to break her fall.

Trevor: Pray for the Lord to reveal Himself to him this semester.

Christian: Pray for his stressful week. He is feeling overwhelmed. He is a Christian.

Mike: Pray for his parents’ financial struggles.

Whitney: Pray for her sister who is senior at another university. She’s having trouble making friends / feeling accepted.

Viral: Pray his computer will work properly. It’s giving him trouble.

Eileen: Pray for general school stuff.

Ming: Pray he will accept Christ. He asked to meet with a prayer partner to know more about Jesus.

Collin: Asked for prayer for his grades and that he would have greater concentration as he studies.

Rafael: Pray the violence in central Mexico would come to an end and the land would return to its former peace.

Pauline: Pray for the relationships in her life.

Naha: Pray for her as she begins to fill out her medical school application and that she would be accepted.

Arwa: Pray for peace that passes understanding as she struggles with the recent drowning of her 2-year old son, Rayan. She is not a Christian and needs to feel the love of Christ. Also pray for her marriage during this stressful time. He was her only child.

2015 Day 2 Prayer Requests:

    Daniella: Pray for protection and peace for her family after they had a home break-in this weekend.

Matthew: Pray he has more time to spend in God’s word and that he will develop his discipleship giftings.

Michael:  Pray he is able to strong Christian witness to his friends.

Stephano: Pray for good grades and that he can do well on his tests.

Ashton: Pray her drill team will do well in nationals in Florida this weekend.

Hope: Pray for anxiety, stress and worry to lift off of her life.

Simmons Teachers: Pray more students would choose the teaching professions.

Shawn: Pray for time management skills and for less stress and anxiety.

Joseph: Pray he can focus as he studies and that he will do well on a major test he is taking.

Max: Thankful and grateful to be here at SMU and thanking God everyday for his parents and friends.

 Jackson: Pray he will receive the Lord’s intervention and grace to finish a major project he is behind on.

Oron: Pray the Lord will show him which job to take and that his nephew will know which college to choose.

Beta students: Asked for prayer for the family / friends of Paul, a Beta student from out of town who was visiting SMU this weekend and was killed by a car as he was crossing the road. Also, please pray for the driver who didn’t see him until it was too late.

Karrol & Shirley: Please pray for Karrol’s health. His health is in great decline and he needs a life saving miracle.
