SMU Arise & Pray

2015 Day 13 Prayer Requests:

Siouqpa & Suthrin: Both from Bombay.She is visiting from Portland, OR. Needs a general blessing over them.

Kenna: Pray for her good friend who is going through an identity crisis.

(2) SMU Engineering Students: They are both Hindu. Asked for favor in their job search.

Jasmine: Pray for her time in Dallas and for her trip home to Houston.

Mack: Very active in a campus ministry group. Pray for him to grow stronger in the Lord. For his thorn in the flesh.

Debbie: Pray for the Lord to be with her.

Jeff & John: Visiting from Michigan. They both need prayer for a general blessing in their lives.

Family who didn’t want any prayer: Pray the Lord will reveal himself to each one of them.

Shanny (sister) & Christina (SMU Freshman): Pray Shanny will go to the college the Lord has planned for her.

Katitha: Pray for wisdom for her in a decision she needs to make.

Ted: Richland student who needs the Lord to heal his heart from the death of his father Vernon. Pray the Lord will heal him completely and give him total freedom from his situation. Wants to have a beautiful wife and children. Asked the Lord to place his ministering angels around him to deliver him and to protect him.

Scarlet: Pray the Lord would supernaturally give her a great accounting job when she graduates from SMU.

Josh: Pray the Lord will go before him in his finals.

Jeff: Pray for the Lord to use him and his teaching gift. Pray for everyone to have gratitude in their lives.

Darlene: Pray for her friend Maryann who has cancer (that the Lord would heal her supernaturally).

2015 Day 12 Prayer Requests:

Chelsea and Kyla: Pray for safety and a good time at their formal.

Ryan: Pray for a safe trip home to Houston and for his friends.

Lee: Pray he is able to attain his Passport in time to travel to Israel in mid-May.

Riley: Pray for his dad’s health as he ages. He also needs strength to do well on his test in Biology.

Kyle: Pray for his mom who has an unknown stomach condition. Pray for wisdom for the doctors to figure it out.

Melissa: Pray for her friend Josie who is deeply grieved over the death of her dog.

Mamie & Shelby: Pray for their stress to be replaced with peace.

Ryan: Pray for him to be less stressed and for the pressure of this time to lift.

Hayden: Pray for his grandpa Jay to be healed of cancer.

Felix: Pray for his grandmother who is grieving from the loss of her husband.

Christian: Pray for his auntie who had a stroke (that she would be healed).

Christina: Pray for her family situation and for her finals to go well.

Marina: Pray for her to come to know Christ.

Sean: Pray for his finals and for a general sense of well being.

Daniel & Justin: Pray for their finals.

Cristo: Pray for his finals and that he would come to know the Father’s love.

Conrad: Pray for divine inspiration as he journals and divine revelation for his Father’s love for him.

2015 Day 11 Prayer Requests:

Clair: Pray for favor on the Physics Test she just took and for her to draw closer to God.

Garrison: Needs work. Pray the Lord will bring him opportunities

Makayia: Also needs a job. She is visiting Dallas from LA.

Patrick: His grandfather had a stroke. Pray he will be okay.

Gloria: Under a lot of pressure. Pray for peace to surround her.

Jerry: Sprained his leg and has a brace. Pray for his complete healing.

Jarvis: Needs direction in his life. Pray he will follow the Lord.

Adam: Pray for direction in school and for his ability to learn.

Christine: Pray for her brother Nicholas to be protected as he serves with the Marines.

Lexi: Pray for her to grow closer to the Lord.

Jacob: Pray to reduce his stress, as he knows this is just the calm before the storm.

Haddie: Pray for her upcoming dance show (that the Lord will go before her and help her to pull it together)

Kelsey: Requested continued prayer for healing.

Brad: Pray for wisdom on tough decisions

Loro: Pray for Jesus to reveal Himself to him.

Katie: Pray for her grandmother. She is ill.

Arturo: Pray for Arnold, his godfather, to recover from his terminal cancer (just found out).

2015 Day 10 Prayer Requests:

Aaron: Sigma Chi student asked for prayer for his friend’s aunt who is in the hospital.

Daniel: Pray the Lord will bless him and lead him.

William: Pray for his parent’s divorce (that it is amicable).

Joseph: Pray for his tests. He is a grad student and feeling a lot of pressure.

Ming: Pray for him to be able to meet with the campus minister to learn about Jesus. He was detained due to the need to visit a friend in the hospital who was in a car accident. (Pray for his friend’s healing).

Karley: Pray the Lord will bless her and lead her to Him.

Kade: Pray the Lord will resolve his family’s problems.

Carter: Pray the Lord will bless him and lead him.

Kayla: Pray for her foot to be healed. She broke it on Saturday

Amelia: Pray for the Lord to bless her and lead her to Him.

Kyle: Pray for his finals and that he would finish strong.

Rob: Pray for his grandparents’ health, for his medical issues and for his finals.

2015 Day 9 Prayer Requests:

Leslie: Pray for a blessing over her life and for general direction.

Clair: Pray for her health. She needs to be healed of a bad head cold.

Hannah Claire: She is a sophomore at SMU. Pray she will finish strong.

Myria: Pray for her boyfriend Jason who is being deployed to Afghanistan.

Natalie: Pray for her to get a job as she graduates from SMU with a degree in Journalism. Pray for all seniors for jobs.

Patrick: Pray for him to get a good grade on the M-CAT he is taking on Saturday, 4/18.

Mickey: Pray he finishes strong as this is his last semester at SMU and that he is able to get everything done.

Joanne: Pray the Lord will lead her and give her HIS direction for her to lead a good life.

Lily: Pray for the Lord to bless her in general as a student at SMU.

2015 Day 8 Prayer Requests:

Paul: Pray he and his fraternity can raise the money they need to cure cancer.

John: Pray for his grades, for his family’s move to be smooth and for his friend Kelly to have her mind restored to her.

Josh: Pray for his Aunt Sue. She has cancer and needs to be healed.

Karly and Jesse: Asked for a prayer of blessing over their lives.

Youseff: Please pray his finals go well.

Anonymous Student: Asked for his dad to remain sober. He has been sober for three years now.

ALSO: Please pray for those on campus who don’t know the Lord.

2015 Day 7 Prayer Requests:

Alexi: Please pray for his family.

Li & family: Chinese family visiting from UTD in need of prayer for family.

Ann: Pray for a new job. She is out of work and needs the Lord to bring her a job.

Allison and Andy: Pray for their health.

Mary: Pray the Lord will use her gift of hospitality for His glory.

2015 Day 6 Prayer Requests:

Hannah: Pray the Lord will be with her and reveal Himself to her

Haley: Pray for her sister. She is in the hospital with a stomach issue. The doctors can’t seem to help her and are baffled.

Jacquelyn: Pray for her two friends who are sick: Sara and Mitchelli

Yen: Pray for his broken heart. His girlfriend broke up with him and he is having a very hard time getting over it. Also pray for peace.

Gwen: Pray for her upcoming tests. She needs to have peace and not let the stress of studying get to her.

Alex: Pray for his grandmother. She is sick and in the hospital. Also pray for him and his family as they go through the pain of letting go of her.

Kaber: Pray for his aunt. She went to the hospital for a stomach issue and the surgeons botched her surgery. She needs healing.

Unnamed Atheist: Pray for her to come to know the Lord. She said she believes in science (not God).

Alana: Pray for her good friend Payton who is dealing with addictions. Also pray for the Lord to bless her, for her identity to come forth and for the fullness of the Spirit to envelope her.

2015 Day 5 Prayer Requests:

Ray: Student from UTD visiting SMU. Needs prayer for an upcoming exam.

Abbey: Needs prayer for an upcoming dance recital.

Kennedy: Visiting SMU with her mom Tamala. Pray she finds the right church / group when she attends SMU in the fall.

Paul: His mom Kathy asked that the Lord would soften Paul’s heart toward Him.

 Jillian: Visiting SMU to see if this is the right school for her. Pray she makes the right choice.

Armani: Pray for her relationship with her family to be strengthened.

McKenzie: Pray for her sister who tore her ACL

Moriah: Pray for her tests

 Angie and Ramer: Pray for their stress and anxiety during this final month of school.

Unnamed Student: Said he doesn’t believe in God. Please pray for him and all others who don’t believe to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

2015 Day 4 Prayer Requests:

Kyle: Pray he receives the requirements he needs to graduate from SMU.

Alex: Pray he is able to study and retain the information for his engineering classes.

Ryan: Pray for wisdom about coming to SMU. He is a prospective student who needs the finances to fall into place.

Brendan: Pray he would receive hope and enlightenment. His mom, Jackie F. is a strong prayer warrior.

Kelsey: Pray for healing for her left foot.

Mike: Pray he would recuperate quickly after taking his exams.

Ziza: Student from Slovenia. Pray he would come to know the Lord.

Robbi: Pray for this woman who has brain cancer. She is a dear friend of the mom of an SMU student.

Taylor: Pray for her. She has fourth stage cancer. She is the best friend of an SMU student.

Kelly: Pray for her upcoming tests and grades.

Anastasia: Pray for her decision in choosing a college. She is a prospective SMU student.

Christina: Needs prayer to make the right decision to choose between SMU or Florida State.

Claudette: Prayer for wisdom as she guides her daughter to make the right choice for college.
